Penthouse Apartment

Overview

I initially designed and made curtains, blinds, soft furnishings, bed treatments and dining chair covers for R in 2012, after a large renovation on this penthouse apartments, which took the ceiling up into the loft space and doubled it’s height. The curtains were all plain linen textures, except for the master bedroom which was a plain duck egg silk. We also covered the master bedroom walls in linen to give further interest and texture. (The property was featured in House & Garden magazine in April 2015 and on their blog in May 2020 - here’s the link). R sold the property in 2014 and I have worked with G - the new owner - over the last eight years to choose paint colours, replace sheer curtains as required, to arrange cleaning of rugs and curtains, to replace carpets and to re-wall the master bedroom in linen after a water leak. It’s been wonderful to work for both owners of the property, and I’m always grateful for their loyalty in using my team.
